Growing up in Mexico, my family never really celebrated Thanksgiving. I learned all about it growing up, but it was never a tradition. In fact, my first thanksgiving dinner was at a friend's house when I was 12 or 13. The longer I lived in the United States, the more I came to realize what a big deal it is to people across the country. My favorite part though, is the bundling together of everything that is fall, halloween, thanksgiving and pumpkin spice lattes in one neat little package; like an early gift right before Christmas time.

A little less than two weeks ago, I started working on a poster for housing's Winter Diversity Event: Thanksgiving.  Having just come off from a month an a half of exposure to fall decorations (mostly in the lands of Magic Kingdom) I was so excited to try this.

I wanted to create something eye-catching yet, clear. I took a full lettering approach, something that I've only gotten the chance to do once before, and I enjoyed every second of it.
