Mexican Moms Be Like is a journey of what it's like growing up with a Mexican mom and all the odd sayings and sarcasm that comes along with it
For the one year anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting, I wanted to create a tribute to those who lost their lives that day. I was fortunate enough to not lose anyone that night, but I also know it could've just as easily been a very different story. All I can do is support the city that has given me so much, and remember those whom were lost.
I’m constantly trying to experiment with more lettering and illustration to incorporate into my work.
Keep Moving Forward
One of my favorite Walt quotes. I’ve always found it motivating when things get a little tough.
Dallas Child Magazine
The folks over at Dallas Child magazine asked me to create an illustration for their September 2015 issue. Lots of creative freedom equals one happy designer!
Type 4 Ham
A new series based on lyrics from Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton musical.
I created this shirt to sell on Cotton Bureau for two weeks. Happy to say it went to print! Awesome. Want this shirt? head here to request a reprint!
Julie & Andy
I had a blast working on these bi-lingual invitations for two of my long-time friends.
26 Days of Type
A little type and color experiment! I tried to go outside of my usual hand drawn look and really tried to simplify the letters into a couple of shapes.
The Postcard Project
Every week for a year (2014-2015) I designed a different postcard based on something or someone in my life. I shared my process via Instagram and Twitter as well as a journal entry at the end of each week.
